经络研究中心成立于2005年，围绕穴位的结构和功能及经络现象开展研究，综合采用生理学、分子生物学和免疫组织化学开展研究，主要的研究方向为：1) 穴位敏化现象和规律的研究；2) 穴位传入与效应关系的研究；3) 穴位广谱效应的研究；4) 耳-迷走刺激治疗癫痫的临床和基础研究；5) 经络现象的国内外追踪研究。承担多项国家和省部级课题，其中973课题1项，国家自然科学基金重点项目1项，面上项目4项，青年基金4项，北京市科技新星项目1项，北京市自然基金3项，国家中医药管理局项目2项。为中国中医科学院优势创新团队，拥有研究员1名，副研究员1名，副主任技师1名，助理研究员3名，主管技师1名。在读硕士生1名。可提供针灸电生理、临床电生理及分子生物学测定分析平台相关设备及技术支持等。
Meridian Research Center focuses on the structure and function of acupoints and the phenomena of meridian. Inaugurated in 2005, the center has now developed some intertwined programs: 1) the process during the sensitization of acupoint; 2) the relation between the afferent nerve in acupoint and effects in local and target organs; 3) the general effects of acupoints; 4) clinical and animal study on the anticonvulsant effect of auricular vagus nerve stimulations; 5) the tracing research of meridian phenomena in domestic and overseas. The center was awarded excellent innovation group by China Academy of Chinese Medical Science and gained a lot of research awards/projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology and National Science Foundation Committee. There are 6 members and 1 excellent Master Candidates in the Center.
