机能研究室2007年通过国家中医药管理局三级实验室验收。目前包含有3个课题组，课题组长分别是刘俊岭研究员、荣培晶研究员、高昕妍研究员。朱兵研究员为中医科学院首席研究员，973首席科学家。近5年来机能室共承担国家重点基础研究发展973计划及子课题6项，科技部专项3项，国家自然科学基金重点项目1项，面上及青年项目17项，北京市自然基金重点项目1项。本研究室以往以电生理学实验平台为主体，目前已建立了一整套开展针灸机能研究的技术平台，并拥有一支结构合理、高素质、高水平的科研队伍。研究方向主要包括：穴位敏化、针刺镇痛及调节内脏功能的节段性及全身性机制、穴位-靶器官效应的交互调节与穴位配伍的生物学机制、针刺治疗术后痛和慢性痛的神经免疫交流对话机制、耳-迷走神经反射联系治疗心血管疾病、胃肠、癫痫、抑郁症、失眠、炎症等的研究。主要研究方法涉及生理，行为，生化、分子生物、免疫、免疫组织化学等，有多学科交叉的科学研究优势和潜力。近年来，注重针灸基础研究为支撑的临床试验研究，建立了稳定的临床合作中心，实现了研究从基础到临床的针灸转化医学模式。近5年来，共发表科研论文140余篇，其中SCI源刊论文53篇；参与或发表专著5部；获得国家级奖励1项，省部级奖励7项；国家奖学金2项；中医科学院优秀博士论文3项；其他奖励7项。
The predecessor of our section was the acupuncture-moxibustion documents research department. For over fifty years, a group of eminent specialists and scholars have made outstanding success in collection and study of ancient documents on acupuncture-moxibustion. Meanwhile, they have completed a large number of basic jobs which were highly effective and had profound influences to the development of acupuncture-moxibustion subject. All these achievements were in the lead of academic progress for long time. In 2005, a revolution of scientific and technological system and academic research took place. In the context, this section was renamed as the Department of Basic Theory for Acupuncture. For a decade, we have aimed at the vital demands, key issues and
weaknesses in the construction and development of acupuncture-moxibustion subject. During the course, multiple national projects were undertaken. We have already made a series of remarkable achievements in the study on traditional acupuncture-moxibustion theories. In the meantime, our academic viewpoints have attracted wide attention. Thus, a new height of acupuncture-moxibustion theoretical research was formed. As one of the earliest key research departments of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and also the affiliated department of the Document Special Commission in the China Association of Acupuncture-Moxibustion, our department played an exemplary and leading role in academic field.Currently, this department has 6 researchers, 2 of whom have Senior Titles, 3 have Vice-Senior Titles and 1 has Middle Title. 3
researchers have already received the doctorates. 1 researcher acts as the academic leader in the college. A doctoral supervisor and 3 Ph.D. candidates are included. All the staffs have formed a solidary group with rational structure.At present, the National Key Basic Research Project (973 Plan) ,“TCM acupuncture theory framework research”, has provided a valued opportunity for us to deepen our research on the origin, connotation and structure, inheritance and development and modern research of the acupuncture-moxibustion theories. Based on results of former multi-aspect research, we will launch some
more systematical analysis and integrated research in future.and Moxibustion, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS) had a history of 55 years and was graded as the Level 3 Laboratory of the State Administration of Traditional
Chinese Medicine in 2007. There are 3 research groups with PIs Prof. Liu Junling, Prof. Rong Peijing and Prof. Gao Xinyan.Prof. Zhu Bing is the Chief Scientist of CACMS and of the National Basic Research Program of China (973 program). In recent 5 years, we undertake six 973 program or subprojects,3 Project of Ministry of Science and Technology, 1 Key Project of Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 17 Regular or Young Projects of NSFC, 1 Key Project of Natural Science Foundation of Beijing. We had electrophysiological platform
for animal experiments mainly before 1980’s. Now we have the advantages and potentials of multidisciplinary cross subjects in carry out animal experiments as well as healthy subjects trials with advanced equipment and top technique in acupuncture functional study. In addition, we have a outstanding research team and reasonable discipline construction. The main research fields in the Department include acupoint sensitization;acupuncture analgesia; the segmental and non-segmental mechanisms of acupuncture in regulation of visceral functions; biological mechanism of the acupoints combination; the mechanism for cross-talk of acupoints and targeted organs; neural immune communication in acupuncture treatment of postoperative pain and chronic pain. We found the auriculo-vagus nerve connection and to apply in the treatment of cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases, epilepsy, depression, insomnia, inflammation et al.Our study approaches include but not be limited to electrophysiology, behavior, biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, immunohistochemistry. Currently, we pay more attention on clinical trial based on basic research data and have established stable clinical cooperation with several general hospitals. We have successfully established translational medical mode for acupuncture study to make lab findings applied in clinical trial smoothly. In the past five years, there are 140 research papers, more than 53 of which are in SCI journals, and 5 monographs published in the Department. Also, we won 1 Award of National and 7 Award of Ministerial-level, and 7 awards of other kinds. The postgraduates in the Department won 2 National Awards, and 3 excellent doctoral dissertations of CACMS.
